Custom Interactive App Developer Cie Studios Expands Long Beach Headquarters, Opens Office in Brazil

LONG BEACH, Calif. (Nov. 17, 2010) – Cie Studios (www.CieStudios.com), a developer of custom social, mobile and web applications, today announced that it is doubling its office space at its Long Beach, Calif. headquarters and opening a new office in São Paulo, Brazil – to meet the fast-growing demand for its specialized expertise.

In a separate announcement, Cie Studios named advertising agency veteran Edward Yu president of the company.  A division of Cie Digital Labs, Cie Studios is an award-winning digital agency that specializes in developing custom web solutions including social media applications for Facebook and mobile applications for the iPhone and Andriod.

Tapping 12 years of experience in interactive services, Cie Studios creates applications that incorporate social and gaming principles to help companies increase usability and engagement for any target audience: customers, employees, dealer networks or others.  Clients include Pioneer Electronics, Scion, Volkswagen and Epson.

Cie Studios is doubling the size of its Long Beach headquarters from 11,000 square feet to 22,000 square feet, at its existing location in Landmark Square at 111 W. Ocean Blvd. in downtown Long Beach.  The building is owned and managed by Brookfield Office Properties.

In São Paulo, Brazil, Cie Studios’ operations are overseen by Marcelo Muñez, Technical Director.  He has worked for Cie Studios for seven years and will focus on expanding the company’s senior development team in Brazil.
